Graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Tokyo and joined Boston Consulting Group (BCG) straight out of university, working on AI adoption projects for financial institutions including banks, securities firms and insurers. Founded Libera in July 2026.

Graduated from the Faculty of Law at Chuo University in 1998 and was admitted to the Tokyo Bar Association in 2003. Formerly a judicial commissioner at the Tokyo Summary Court, and now an advisor to the National Association of Servicers and the Japan Warranty Association. Advises banks, credit card companies, money lenders, leasing companies and other financial businesses on servicing and debt collection, compliance and data protection. Co-author of books including Korekara no Saiken Kanri (Kinzai) and Kin’yū Hōmu no Riron to Jissen (Yuhikaku), both in Japanese.

We are looking for a founding engineer to help us build an AI agent that changes how the debt collection industry works. You have shipped LLM agents to production and improved them through evaluation systems of your own design. Voice experience is welcome but not required. You can own the work end to end, from conversation design to the infrastructure and evaluation that run the agent, and you are willing to visit our customers’ sites to see how the work really happens.
Japanese is not required.
